Condensation Reactions:


These are commonly used for corrosion inhibitors, but also are used as surfactants, emulsifiers, and flocculants. These include imidazolines, amidoamines, and bis imidazolines.
Polyamido-Imidazoline NS-7000 Corrosion inhibitor base used in the formulation of both oil and water soluble corrosion inhibitors.
Amido Imidazoline 2:1 NS-7020

Corrosion inhibitor base primarily used in the formulation of oil soluble corrosion inhibitors. Exhibits excellent high temperature stability.
Aminoethyl Imidazoline 1:1 NS-7030 Corrosion inhibitor base used in the formulation of both oil and water soluble corrosion inhibitors.

Corrosion inhibitor base used in the formulation of both oil and water soluble corrosion inhibitors.
Corrosion Inhibitor Base NS-7068 High molecular weight corrosion inhibitor base.

Quaternization (Alkylation) Reactions: Cationic Surfactants


These include cationic surfactants such as coco benzyl quats and coco bis quats.  These surfactants are also used as corrosion inhibitors.

Quaternization (Alkylation) Reactions: Amphoteric Surfactants


These include an amphoteric surfactant cocamidopropyl betaine.  These surfactants are also used as corrosion inhibitors.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine NS-9269 Used in foamers that are high brine and condensate stable.

NovaStar manufactures a proprietary high brine tolerant scale inhibitor along with inhibitors based upon DETA, BHMT, ahd ATMP.  These products can be supplied in both the acid and neutralized forms.
